This series of drawings translates fleeting thoughts into visual form. Each composition is accompanied by text, which subtly reframes or expands its meaning, creating an open dialogue between image and word.
Executed in Chinese ink on Okawara Japanese paper, the works take advantage of the material’s exceptionally smooth surface and wide fibers, allowing the ink to disperse with a distinct fluidity. The lettering is applied individually using the Letraset technique, introducing a deliberate and tactile counterpoint to the spontaneity of the ink.
